NEW CITY, NY — The first day of school in Clarkstown Central School District is September 5 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Clarkstown Central School District has released its 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 3/22: No School (Superintendent's Conference Day)

April

• 4/10: Early Release Day
• 4/19 - 4/26: No School (Spring Recess)

• 5/24 - 5/27: No School (Memorial Day Weekend)

• 6/21 - 6/26: Half Days (Grades K-5)
