Clarkstown Police Mourn Death of Mark Dorfman

Auxiliary Police Officer Mark Dorfman died March 5 in Florida at 77.

He had been a Clarkstown Auxiliary Police Officer since 1999 and at the time of his death had recorded 6,601 volunteer service hours to this Police Department and the Town, police said.

"Mark’s selfless sacrifice of his time and talent on weekdays, weekends and holidays helped to maintain a safe environment for our residents to live, work, recreate and raise their families," the department said in a post on Facebook.
