The fall production for Clarkstown South High School is “Pygmalion,” on which the George Bernard Shaw classic "My Fair Lady" is based. Pygmalion is a classic and a comedy and its benefits for students go beyond appearing on stage.
Students have an opportunity to work together in a climate that is welcoming and fun while at the same time learning skills in theater and that will apply to their academic careers as well,” said Kip Bonsignore, who is the producer.
He said rehearsals began mid September for the approximately 20 actors and 20 crewmembers.
