SPRING VALLEY, NY — The Columbian Fire Company No. 1 has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the family of Jared Lloyd, the firefighter who died rescuing residents from a massive blaze Tuesday at the Evergreen Court Home for Adults.
"As well as being a dedicated firefighter, Jared was a dedicated father to his two sons. All funds raised will go directly to his family and will be used for his sons' future," Andrew Lerer wrote on GoFundMe.
Lloyd was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and worked for Altice.
