Community Raising Funds To Send Teen's Body To His Mom
After a 5-week search, Suffern teen Wilson Atz was found dead. Now a GoFundMe page has been set up to help with the funeral.

SUFFERN, NY — Members of the community have created a GoFundMe page to help the family of 18-year-old Wilson Atz bury him. The Suffern police had been searching for him since he had been last seen Dec. 20.
After a search that expanded to include special rescue teams from as far away as the Adirondacks, the teen's body was found in Lake Antrim under the New York State Thruway bridge at the source of the Mahwah River Jan. 26. SEE: Search And Rescue Team Finds Body Of Missing Teen
"Unfortunately, his family does not have the necessary resources to transport his body to his last resting place, and to cover the expenses for his funeral," said Silvia Namnun, organizer of the GoFundMe page. "We have created this page with the purpose of raising funds to send Wilson to Guatemala, his country of origin, where his mother, his sisters, and other relatives are waiting to receive him."
