Contribute To Clarkstown's Coat Drive
Four local dry cleaners are helping out and three local agencies are giving newly-cleaned winter coats to needy Rocklanders.

NEW CITY, NY — Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann has kicked off the Clarkstown Cares Coat Drive. Four local dry cleaners are helping, collecting coats for kids and adults, cleaning the coats free of charge, and then forwarding them to three agencies, Martin Luther King Center, People to People, and Advocates for Change.
The program runs now through Dec. 20.
“Many families are faced with tough times during the holidays. I am asking residents to look through their closets and donate any coats they may no longer need,” said Hoehmann. “Help us keep our neighbors warm this winter!”
