Dog Dies After BMW Flips Over
Police said the operator, now hospitalized, had been driving on three tires.
STONY POINT, NY — An Orange County woman is hospitalized after her car flipped over on the Palisades Parkway Tuesday, killing her dog.
Before the crash, state police said, they had fielded several 911 calls about a BMW with three tires driving south on Route 6. At 9:40 a.m. they were called to a crash on the parkway.
Police said witnesses told them the BMW entered the parkway and began to speed up, then flipped over. The driver and her dog were ejected.

The driver was identified as Taylor Robinson, 25, of Highland Mills. She was taken by helicopter to Westchester Medical with multiple injuries including a concussion, police said. The dog died from its injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
