Dry Ice For Those Still Out Of Power In Rockland Saturday Morning
O&R will give away dry ice in Pomona, New City and West Haverstraw for the 4% of customers still without power. Here's where and when.

Orange and Rockland Utilities will be at three locations in Rockland County Saturday with dry ice for customers still without electric service.
- In New City they'll be at the Street School Community Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is at 13 Zucker Road in New City. They'll be in the north parking lot. The dry ice is free.
- In Pomona from 9 a.m. to noon: Palisades Credit Union Park (Boulders Stadium), 3 Palisades Credit Union Park Drive in Pomona.
- In Haverstraw from 2-4 p.m. at West Haverstraw Village Hall, 130 Samsondale Ave.
Saturday morning O&R reported 4,832 Rockland customers still out of power, about 4 percent of customers.
That's down from 13,708 customers in Rockland on Friday morning.

Nearly 200,000 of the utility's customers lost power in Rockland, Orange, Sullivan counties in New York and northern Passaic and Bergen counties in New Jersey during Tropical Storm Isaias on Tuesday afternoon.
