Fewer Than 20,000 Customers Still Out: O&R
Service restoration times have now been posted on the O&R website.

Orange and Rockland Utilities reported at 10:15 a.m. Friday that 38,458 customers remained out of service of the 200,000 homes and businesses that lost power in Tropical Storm Isaias in its coverage area. That included 13,708 customers out in Rockland County and 5,555 out in Orange County.
Individual service restoration times are now posted for each of the customers still out of service.
"That more granular information will allow affected customers to better plan their daily lives as they await service restoration," O&R officials said.

As you look on the map to see your restoration estimate, remember these tips from Orange County Emergency Management on Facebook:
- Outage locations not listed by specific location are usually tied in with the surrounding outages reported. The area may be without power, however the problem most likely not in the town but in the areas surrounding it which supplies the power to the location - thus related to the outages indicated surrounding your outage site.
- It is also important to note that 'customers' does not mean individual people. A 'customer' is a line - so multiple families could be affected by one customer line.
