Former Rockland Man Accused Of Beating Infant Son
He was charged with child abuse and neglect after medical officials found external and internal injuries on the child, officials said.
WAYNE, NJ — A former Spring Valley resident is charged with child abuse and neglect after an investigation by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit and the Wayne Police Department.
The charges and arrest stem from an instance in May 2020 when an unresponsive 4-week-old was taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center. At the hospital, doctors discovered external and internal injuries on the child, the prosecutor said.
The investigation led to the arrest of Slobodan Todoric, 30, now of Wayne, who was released on pretrial monitoring after a court appearance Tuesday. Todoric is a Rockland County native, the Clarkstown Daily Voice reported.
