Hazardous Outlooks Issued For Hudson Valley Tuesday

Thunderstorms and scattered showers are expected across the Hudson Valley Tuesday afternoon into the evening.
National Weather Service has issued hazardous weather outlooks.
For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties, a cold front will bring isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon into evening. Some storms could be strong to severe, and while large hail cannot be ruled out, damaging wind gusts will be the more likely threat.

For Dutchess and Ulster counties, there is a marginal to slight risk for severe thunderstorms through this afternoon. Damaging winds will be the main threat.
The short-term good news is that phrase "cold front." Temps and humidity will again be stifling in the high 80s Tuesday. Wednesday, the high won't reach 80, but it moves back into the mid-80s for the end of the work week.
