Hot, Hotter: Hudson Valley Weekend
A slight chance of thunderstorms won't stop temps from climbing 15-20 degrees above average.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Already 10-25 degrees above average for this time of year, temperatures are expected to soar even higher Sunday, into the upper 80s across the region, according to forecasters.

The average high temperature for White Plains on May 21 is 69.2 degrees Fahrenheit, according to climate-data.org.
One good thing: While Sunday is also the day where humidity levels are expected to be highest in the region, they will still be well short of the levels experienced during the dog days of summer often felt in July and August, said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist.
