Last 1,100 Customers Await Power Restoration
More than 80,000 homes and businesses lost power in the winter storm of Christmas 2020.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Sunday afternoon more than 1,100 homes and businesses in the Hudson Valley still lacked electricity, which was knocked out in the high winds and drenching rain of the Christmas storm.
- O&R reported at 2:40 that 767 customers still lacked electric power in Rockland and 10 in Orange County.
- NYSEG - 23 customers out in Dutchess, 9 in Putnam, 35 in Ulster and 106 in Westchester.
- CenHud - 2 out in Dutchess, 47 in Orange, 2 in Putnam and 106 in Ulster
- Con Ed - just 7 customers still out in Westchester
