Man Assaulted In New City; Police Asking For Info
The man told officers he was assaulted by several people.
NEW CITY, NY — The Clarkstown Police Department is investigating an assault of a man in New City Sunday.
Police said they were calls to the area of Ridge Road and Route 304 in New City shortly before 7:30 p.m.
Officers found a man who was naked and had visible injuries to his body.

The man told officers he had been assaulted by several people, after which they stole the car he was traveling in, police said.
According to authorities, the car is a gray early 2000s 4DSD Honda Accord.

The man was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital by New City Ambulance and Rockland Medics.
Police said, based on their investigation so far, the public is not in any immediate danger.
Clarkstown detectives are asking if anyone has information about the assault. If so, call them at 845-639-5840.
