New City Chiropractic Center Helps Clean Up Heritage Drive in New City

2nd Annual Clean Up day for New City Chiropractic Center makes a difference in one neighborhood area.

To honor their 30th Anniversary, New City Chiropractic Center put together a Keep Rockland Beautiful team for the first time in 2016. They picked up trash in an area of Spring Valley and helped beautify a section of dirty roadway. This year they decided to again participate in the Great American Clean Up and chose the area behind the New City Condominiums on Heritage Drive. The team consisted of Dr. Michael Cocilovo and Dr. Gil Rodriguez, Rockland County Legislator Lon Hofstein along with six patients who all donned gloves and grabbers and picked up glass bottles, plastic cups, wrappers and more in the area at the bottom of Heritage Drive near Route 304.

"It is very satisfying to be able to contribute to the community in this simple way. And participating in the Keep Rockland Beautiful campaign is a great way of celebrating Earth Day, and making a positive impact on our local neighborhoods.” stated Dr. Cocilovo who spearheaded the effort.

New City Chiropractic Center has been serving the Rockland County area for three decades providing chiropractic care to those ages six months and up. A Certified Sports Team Physician, Dr. Michael Cocilovo is also one of a select group of chiropractors who is certified to perform Manipulation under Anesthesia (MUA). He is a long-time member of the New York State Chiropractic Association and is Past President of the Rockland County Chapter of the American Chiropractic Association. The office is located at 490 Route 304 in New City and can be reached through their website at www.newcitychiropractic.com or via email at info@newcitychirorpactic.com or by calling the office at 845-634-8877.
