The New City Rams Pee Wee Football team won again this past weekend - beating the Kirk Park Colts 34-33 in overtime. The game was well-fought by both teams with the lead changing hands throughout. Time expired with a score of 27-27, forcing an overtime situation. New City had the first possession and scored a touchdown followed by an extra point. Kirk Park then had the ball and scored a touchdown as well - but the Rams defense prevailed by stopping them at the goal line to prevent the extra point.
New City moves on to the Regional Semifinal game in Schenectady this Saturday, November 18th where they hope to defeat the Rochester Rams in order to move on to the Regional Championship game the following week.
