New City Rams Pee Wee Football Team County Champs

NEW CITY, NY — The New City Rams Pee Wee football team beat Eastchester 26-0 on Nov. 1 to become the Rockland County Pop Warner Pee Wee Football champions. Their record was 7-1 for the season.

The team was last years' Empire State Championship winner. It is made up of 11,- 12-, and 13-year-olds from New City and West Nyack.

The team is representing Rockland County in the Regional championship and played their first game Nov. 5 vs. the Sayreville Jr. Bombers. The New City Rams won the game 27-8 and will continue on in the regionals, playing this coming weekend.
