- Where: Nanuet High School
- When: July 2
Come celebrate Independence Day at the annual town event at Nanuet High School. Festivities start at 5 p.m. and the Concert at 8 p.m. (Rain date July 3, 2019).

And on the day itself, head up to the Independence Day Commemoration at Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site. Celebrate the 243rd birthday of the United States! You'll learn a lot at the Illustrated Lecture on the Development of the Declaration, which starts at 1 p.m. If you don't have a lot of time, don't miss hearing the Declaration of Independence read out loud at 2:45 p.m. That's followed by the annual firing of cannon at 3 p.m. All programs are free.
