New Principal Selected For Link Elementary
Francine Cuccia is retiring as the school's principal for the past 29 years.
NEW CITY, NY — A new principal for Link Elementary School in the Clarkstown district has been appointed. Mary Bish was selected to take over July 1 from Francine Cuccia, who is retiring as the school's principal for the past 29 years.
Bish comes to the Clarkstown district having most recently served as elementary principal and K-12 instructional coordinator, fine and performing arts and languages other than English for the Wappingers Central School District.
Bish said she was excited to become the new principal when the school year begins

"During the interview process I was amazed by and impressed with the pride and sense of community I witnessed at Link and with the entire Clarkstown Central School District community," she said. "I immediately knew these values were aligned with my own core values, beliefs and leadership style."
Bish has a bachelor of music degree from Ithaca College, a master of music degree in music education from the Boston Conservatory and an advanced certificate in school district administration from Long Island University.
