Pet of the Week: Scooby Doo

Let me introduce myself..... My name is Scooby Doo. I'm a large mixed breed and they think I'm about 4-5 years old. I came to the shelter in mid-June after my owner passed away and I was left in the house until someone found me.

I was in pretty bad shape and so scared but with some TLC look at me now. I was anxious at first but now that I feel better and can start to trust people my personality is starting to come out.

I like to go for walks and am practicing my leash skills, I like belly rubs and back scratches but mostly I like to spend time sitting outside socializing with my people. I was house trained when I got here but sometimes that's hard to do at the shelter so I may need some reminders.

I would love a calm home with older adults looking for a companion because I still get scared at times. I would need a meet and greet with any other dog but no cats please.
