Roadwork On Route 45 Starts Thursday

Northbound and southbound alternating lane closure is expected on Route 45 between East Funston Avenue and Old Nyack Turnpike daily beginning Thursday.

Crews will perform construction activities, weather permitting, through Monday, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Anticipate delays and seek alternate routes where possible.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Remember that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
