Rockland Disinfecting Wipes Firm Working Round-the-Clock
Nice-Pak is even having its antibacterial products tested for efficacy against the new coronavirus.

ORANGEBURG, NY — One Rockland-based company has found itself on the front lines during the new coronavirus pandemic — because its products have been in great demand.
Manufacturing is going around the clock at Nice-Pak, a family-owned company founded more than 60 years ago. Nice-Pak is even having its products tested for efficacy against SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus causing COVID-19. Nice-Pak has partnered with Microbac, a premier contract testing laboratory and is among the first companies to have this intensive testing conducted, officials said.
"Nice-Pak, who developed and commercialized the first disinfecting surface wipes, has been at the forefront of innovation for decades and continues to advance our offerings – which includes testing of current and emerging pathogens – as the need for disinfecting and cleaning products continues to increase,” said Jim Dalton, Vice President and Head of Research & Development, Nice-Pak. “Our partnership with Microbac will help us generate the necessary data for submission to the EPA to support claims against SARS-CoV-2, and ensure that our products offer effective solutions to keep people healthy.”
