Rockland Man Accused Of Carrying Brass Knuckles

The weapons were found during a traffic stop on the New York State Thruway, police said.

CLARKSTOWN, NY — A Rockland resident stopped by New York state police on I-87 on Saturday faces a weapons charge in Clarkstown town court.

State police said that troopers stopped Romario R. Gentiles of Stony Point at 10:30 p.m. for a vehicle and traffic violation. Troopers said they observed a pair of metal knuckles fall out of a bag while Gentiles was retrieving his identification.

Gentiles was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Tarrytown, where he was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor. He was released with an appearance ticket returnable March 1.
