Rockland Sheriff's Office Going Online For Police Week

As we celebrate National Police Week this year, we find ourselves in the midst of a pandemic with restrictions on public gatherings and unable to old our annual law enforcement memorial service.

We will be posting online through social media, tributes to those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and whose names are inscribed on the Rockland County Law Enforcement Memorial located in front of the Rockland County Courthouse in New City.

Please keep their families in your thoughts and prayers. Each year we come together at this time to remember our fallen heroes and their families.

We cannot thank them enough for what they have done for us. We must never forget, but always cherish and honor their memory for generations to come. For as long as we remember, a part of those lost will always remain.
