Timeline for Damaging Storms Thursday In The Hudson Valley
Here's an hour-by-hour look at the weather forecast.

The Hudson Valley could see a series of thunderstorms Thursday afternoon — some of them severe enough to bring damaging winds and even hail.
According to the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center, an isolated tornado is possible as well. In addition, heavy rainfall may allow for flooding of urban and poor drainage areas, with isolated flash flooding possible.
The NWS says the more dominant supercells may be able to produce hailstones 2 inches in diameter. In faster moving sections, a few gusts of greater than 75 mph will be possible.

Hudson Valley Weather predicts the highest risk period will be 3-7 p.m. "The threat of the severe thunderstorms could be with us for several hours, as the front does not push through very quickly at all. That may allow for long duration thunderstorms, or some areas to be hit by multiple storms."
Before we get there, it's going to get hot and humid, the Weather Channel predicts. Here's a look at the hour-by-hour forecast for Thursday.
