Shrek-i-fied ice cream social to benefit Shannon Murphy

11 year old Shannon Murphy suffers with T Cell ALL Leukemia. Due to her chemo, she could not start 6th grade at Felix Festa Middle School.

On Aug. 8, 2018, the Murphy family received a call from their pediatrician. 11 year old Shannon Murphy was diagnosed with T Cell ALL Leukemia. Shannon now receives weekly chemotherapy treatments instead of being in sixth grade class with her friends at Felix Festa Middle School.

On Sat. Oct. 6 & Sun. Oct. 7, Saint Francis of Assisi church hosted a Shrek-I-fied Ice Cream Social to benefit Shannon Murphy. Almost $18,000 were raised in two days to help offset medial expenses.
