ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY —SUEZ's Watershed Recreation Program has opened for 2021.
It's a membership program offering access to SUEZ properties in New York and New Jersey for fishing, bird watching and hiking the trails.
Areas along the Oradell, Woodcliff Lake, Lake Tappan and Lake DeForest reservoirs are open to members from dawn to dusk through Nov. 30. Wheelchair-accessible areas are located at Lake Tappan and Woodcliff Lake.

”We invite all to come enjoy the beauty of our watershed and learn about the importance of protecting our local water resources,” said Chris Graziano, Vice President and General Manager of SUEZ Operations in New York.
This year, children ages 5 to 12 can participate in the company's free, expanded Reservoir Rangers program, with activities to explore and learn about the watershed.

Members are invited to take part in the program's photo contest. Take a photo and tag it — on Facebook at SUEZ Water New York or Twitter @suezwaterny — and your membership could be free next year. Winners will be chosen in three categories, company officials said:
- Going Fishing – There are seven types of fish in our reservoirs. Post a photo of your best catch.
- Bird Watching – Share your best pics of birds you spot inside our gates.
- Enjoying Nature – We want to see sunsets along the reservoirs, animals you encounter during hikes, your family exploring our trails, and more. Be creative.
Season rates start at $40 for individuals with family plans available. To join, or for more information, go to www.suezwatershed.com.
