Train Strikes Car On Pascack Valley Line
Two people were taken to the hospital with significant injuries.
A train hit a car on the Pascack Valley line Thursday morning shutting down the line from end to end. The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the River Edge station in New Jersey when the train hit a car that was on the tracks.
Two people in the car were taken to the hospital with significant injuries, News 12 reported.
The train had more than 400 people on board and no one was injured.

As of noon, service on the line had resumed, but there were still delays posted for the Pascack Valley line.
