Driver Thrown From Vehicle In Crash, Seriously Injured: Police
His car left the roadway and struck two PSEG poles Thursday night, police say.
SOUTHOLD, NY — A 22-year old from Southold was ejected from his vehicle during a single-car crash Thursday night, police said.
According to Southold Police, the crash took place at 11:33 p.m. on Route 25 in Southold. Liam Toman, 22, was driving a 2004 Mercedes Benz east on Route 25 when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with two PSEG poles, police said.

Toman was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center by Greenport Fire Department with serious injuries; his vehicle was impounded for a safety check, police said.
No charges were filed in the crash, police said.
