CUTCHOGUE, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

He is a volunteer EMT first responder.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
He leaves the house at all hours of the night to go on calls. He has such a look of compassion and caring on his face every time he heads out to help people. He was 'EMT of the Year' in 2018. He treats his patience with such kindness and love.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?
He is selfless. He gives so much to the Cutchogue Fire Department. If you are in his ambulance he treats you like you are part of his family.
