What: The Greenport Fire Department's carnival fundraiser

Where: The Polo Grounds on Moores Lane with fireworks

When: The carnival will be held from June 30 to July 4, with fireworks on July 2 and July 4 at 10 p.m.

Orient Harbor Independence Day Fireworks

What: A longtime North Fork summer tradition is back after the pandemic.

Where: The Orient Harbor Independence Day Fireworks take place over Orient Harbor.

When: The fireworks are scheduled for July 3 at 9:15 p.m.

Fireworks at Riverhead Raceway

What: Family fun and fireworks at Riverhead Raceway.

Where: Riverhead Raceway, 1797 Old Country Road, Riverhead

When: July 3 and August 14 at 9:30 p.m.

Southold Village Merchants' Fourth of July Parade

What: The 23rd Annual Southold Village Merchants' July 4 Parade

Where: The parade kicks off on Main Road in Southold and wends its way from Boisseau Avenue to Tuckers Lane in a burst of patriotic red, white and blue.

When: July 4 at noon

2nd Annual New Suffolk 4th of July Boat Parade

What: The 2nd Annual New Suffolk 4th of July Boat Parade; those participating should meet at the red nun west of Robins Island no later than 10:45 a.m. The parade will begin to wend its way north toward New Suffolk at 11 a.m. Onlookers can view the festivities from the beach or Steamboat Wharf.

Alive On 25
What: Alive on 25 is a free summer street festival in downtown Riverhead offering local craft beverages and wine, live music, artists, street vendors and activities the whole family can enjoy.

Where: The free walkable, pop-up festival on Main Street features restaurant offerings, artist exhibitions, and much more.

When: The 2021 schedule kicks off on July 15 with fireworks at 9:15 p.m. at Grangebel Park over the Peconic Riverfront. An original July 1 date was rescheduled due to weather. For additional information about the event and a full roster of Alive on 25 dates, click here.
