NORTH FORK, NY — Residents will head to the polls on Tuesday, May 18 to vote for 2021-2022 school budgets and Board of Education candidates.

In advance of the vote, candidates for the Greenport Union Free School District's Board of Education will participate in a Zoom forum on Wednesday, May 12 at 6 p.m. To sign on, click here.

Four candidates, including incumbent Babette Cornine, Kelly Harris, Ramona Miranda and Robin Walden are vying for two open seats. Incumbent Daniel Creedon is not seeking re-election.

According to organizers, neither Cornine and Walden will be participating in the Zoom.

The event is sponsored by the Greenport Parent Teachers Organization and the Greenport Civic Association.
