Greenport Students Donate Items to Homeless

Greenport School’s fourth grade students recently raised money to help purchase items to donate to the homeless in the North Fork community.

Aleyna Gungor led the campaign, which enabled the class to purchase three sleeping bags, three pillows, pillow cases, and assorted toiletries.

All of the items were donated to Saint Agnes Church, located on Front Street in Greenport, for the homeless.
