Helen Sidor Krupski, Beloved Pillar Of North Fork Farming Community, Passes Away

Helen Krupski, matriarch of the Krupski family, was a much-loved member of the North Fork community; scores are mourning her loss.

Helen Sidor Krupski of Peconic died on March 20, 2017. She was 84 years old.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 22 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church in Cutchogue.

Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Meals on Wheels, c/o Southold Town Human Resources Center, Cutchogue Fire Department, Southold Sunshine Society or San Simeon by the Sound would be appreciated. Envelopes for that purpose will be available at the funeral home.

Helen Krupski has long been a familiar face at Krupski Farms in Cutchogue along with her husband Albert Sr.; a love of farming was instilled into her family, including her son Suffolk County Legislator Al Krupski and her grandson, Southold Town Trustee Nick Krupski.
