Hundreds Turn Out for EH Library's Authors Night

On Saturday, the East Hampton Library’s annual “Authors Night” fundraiser was held on the grounds of the Gardiner Farm, 36 James Lane, in the Village of East Hampton. More than 100 authors were on hand to sign books and meet with their readers.

100 Percent of the proceeds from the sale of books benefits the library.

Nearly 1,000 people attended the event which included many authors who live in the area including Aerin Lauder, Robert Caro and Michael Shnayerson.

Also on hand for the festivities were the former Governor George Pataki and his wife, Libby, Alec Baldwin, one of the event’s co-chairs, and his wife, Hilaria, Senator Chuck Schumer and Senator Rand Paul.
