Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Given At Eastern Long Island Hospital

The single-dose coronavirus vaccine will be available on two days this week for people 65 and older.

GREENPORT, NY — A limited number of the new Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be available at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport this week for seniors 65 and over.

The single-dose vaccinations will be distributed on Tuesday, March 9 and Wednesday, March 10.

Those who want to be vaccinated must be 65 years or older and will be required to provide proof of age at the time of the appointment. Those who are not 65 or older will not be able to receive the vaccine.

Individuals must have a printed eligibility form from the Department of Health as well as appropriate documentation of eligibility. Without eligibility forms, the appointment may be canceled and the person will not receive the vaccine.
