Man Cuffed for Theft of Services After Leaving Hotel Without Paying: Police
The suspect was caught during a traffic stop, police said.

A Peconic man was busted for leaving a hotel without paying the bill, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the man, 42, was arrested on Saturday at 4:13 p.m. on Route 48 in Cutchogue. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a a woman, 48, stopped for having an expired inspection sticker, police said.
On October 11, 2015, police said, the man stayed at Heron Harbor Suites in Southold and left without paying; he was arrested and charged with theft of services, a misdemeanor, police said. A data check revealed that he also had an active warrant out of Riverhead, police said.

He was released on cash bail for the theft of services charge, and turned over into the custody of Riverhead Police, police said.
