Mattituck High School Baseball Team Ranked Second in National Small Schools Baseball Teams
The ranking was conducted by MaxPreps.

The Mattituck High School baseball team was recently ranked second in MaxPreps list of the top 25 national small schools baseball teams.
In addition, Mattituck coach Steve DeCaro was named MaxPreps 2015 small schools coach of the year.
DeCaro led the team to a New York Class B state championship with a 27-1 record, according to MaxPreps.

After winning the state title, Mattituck finished ranked first in the state by the MaxPreps Computer Rankings.
For All-State, Joe Tardif was named New York Player of the Year for Class B as well as first team All State; James Nish is third team and Marcos Perivolaris is fifth team.

The Small Schools All-American Team consists of two teams of 30 players each.
The players are selected from schools that belong to state enrollment divisions with generally 1,000 students or less.
