Memorial Day Parade A Go In Southold
The Griswold-Terry-Glover American Legion Post 803 announced this week that an annual parade is back on again this year.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A time-honored tradition will return this year as the annual Memorial Day parade kicks off in Southold for the first time since the pandemic.
The Griswold-Terry-Glover American Legion Post 803 said this week that they were proud to announce that the Memorial Day parade was "a go for 2021." The parade takes place on Monday, May 31, beginning at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Boisseau Avenue and Route 25.
The parade will then proceed west on Route 25, ending at the American Legion Post. Boy Scout Troop 6 will be at the Post after the parade serving free hot dogs and soda to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis, a release said. The Legion's bar will also be available for veterans and their friends, so that they can share fellowship and "remember those lost in all of the Great Wars and conflicts," Post Commander Charles Saunders said.
