Poole said donations she receives will be donated to METAvivor "in memory of my warrior sister, college sorority sister, and good friend, Keri Lynn Stromski."
Stromski, a kindergarten teacher who was a beloved inspiration to scores of students and others in the cancer arena, died recently after waging a fierce fight against Stage IV metastatic breast cancer — and the many who love her have vowed to carry on her battle, echoing her words: "Stage IV needs more."
"Keri Stromski’s motivation, inspiration, and love for others helped me to help others with their battles with cancer," Doorhy said.
