Pandemic Can't Keep Santa Away From Southold: Photos
An annual Santa parade hosted by the Southold Fire Department had joyful spectators dancing in the street.
SOUTHOLD, NY — No pandemic could stop Santa from bringing his Christmas magic to Southold on Saturday: Members of the Southold Fire Department worked as hard as Santa's elves to create spectacular truck displays for the annual Santa Parade.
The parade kicked off at Southold High School and headed along Main Road to the Southold Fire Department. Beautifully decorated firetrucks aglow with lights, along with Santa, Mrs. Claus and their elves, delighted young and old.
"The looks of delight on the faces of the children —and adults — were priceless," the fire department said. "The members of Hook and Ladder, Packard Hose, and Protection Engine Company would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2021!"
