Pedestrian Struck In Greenport Crosswalk
The pedestrian suffered minor injuries, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A pedestrian was struck in a Greenport crosswalk Saturday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place at 2:52 p.m. on Main Street when the driver of a 2020 Jeep Cherokee, who was heading south, struck the person in the crosswalk.
The pedestrian, who had minor injuries, was treated by the Greenport Fire Department and transported to Eastern Long Island Hospital for further evaluation, police said.
