Photos: Enthusiastic Crowd Views 'Reflections' Exhibit at Mattituck-Laurel Library

NORTH FORK, NY — A crowd packed a photography exhibit at the Mattituck-Laurel Library Friday night, celebrating the works of their colleagues and friends.
The fine art photography exhibit, "Reflections," will be on display through March 31, and was organized by the Light Painters Learning Center, a North Fork-based photography club.

"Reflections" consists of images captured on the club's field trips, members' personal travels, and other moments in time captured with creativity and talent.
Subjects include still life work, landscapes, seascapes, nature, wildlife and other abstracts; all images are for sale.

Artists on display include Ginny Blank, Linda Burke, Deborah Doty, Kristen Frohnhoefer, Paula Hepner, Helen Janson, Dennis Maroulas, Judy McCleery, Michael Miereanu, Anne Murray, Joan Ohlson, Mariella Ostroski, Susan Pontino, Eli Ruiz, Peter Sacks, Susan Skrezec, Melissa Spiro, Bill Stamatis, Diana Voelker, Eileen Whitehead and Ed Williams.
The Light Painters Learning Center was established by local North Fork photographer and instructor Judy McCleery, to afford photographers of all levels of experience the chance to share ideas, brush up on skills, and meet other artists. The group meets one Thursday per month at the Southold Recreation Center in Peconic. Guests can pay $20 for a single visit or $85 for a year.
