Reuse Center To Reopen At Southold Town Transfer Station
It's good news for treasure hunters and those hoping to pass along items to others as the Southold town reuse center is set to reopen.

PECONIC, NY — It's good news for treasure hunters as Southold Town announced the re-opening of the town's reuse center at the transfer station on Peconic Lane. The area has been closed for more than a year due to the pandemic.
The reuse area will reopen on Friday, July 9, Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell said.
Holding true to the adage, "one man's junk is another man's treasure," the space allows residents to drop off items they no longer want — and others to take them for free.

All unvaccinated visitors must wear a mask per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and New York State guidelines. Those bringing items should be aware that the amount being dropped off may be limited to accommodate as many users as possible.
