Southold Native Interning For U.S. Representative

Anne Davey, a Southold native and a rising junior at High Point University in North Carolina, is excited to be spending her summer interning with U.S. Representative Howard Coble’s office. 

“No matter where I go after this, I know I’ll proudly be able to say that my training, experience and work for Congressman Coble better prepared me to serve the people of this country,” said the political science major.

During the course of her internship, Davey will be focusing on constituent services, and in many cases will be the first contact for the many constituents who reach out to the congressman.

“My education thus far in HPU’s political science department has prepared me by providing all of the background and government working knowledge I need to be successful in this position,” she said.
