Southold Town Holds Virtual Info Meetings On Police Reform Plan
The public is invited to weigh in.

SOUTHOLD, NY — With Gov. Andrew Cuomo's April 1 deadline looming for local municipalities to submit a police reform plan or else forfeit state funding, Southold Town is moving forward: Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell and members of the town board will host two virtual public input and informational meetings on the Southold Town police reform and reinvention collaborative plan.
The first meeting will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and the second meeting is set for Wednesday, March 24 at 7 p.m.
The public is encouraged to read the report and share their thoughts, town officials said.

The town board will hold a work session on Friday, March 26 at 9 a.m. and is expected to vote on the reform plan during a special town board meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. that Friday.
