Woman Impaired By Drugs Crashes Into Parked Car: Police

MATTITUCK, NY — A Mattituck woman was arrested after she crashed into a parked car while under the influence of drugs, police said.

According to Southold Town police, the incident took place on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. on Love Lane in Mattituck when Tisha Watroba, 43, struck a parked vehicle. She did not sustain any injuries as a result of the crash; further investigation revealed that Watroba was under the influence of drugs, police said.

Watroba was arrested, charged with first degree operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, transported to police headquarters, processed, and held for morning arraignment, police said.
