14 Session Days Left before NYS Budget Vote of April 1, 2021
Like Covid 19-if exposed; one is too quarantine for 14 Days-Ironically there are 14 Legislative Days before April 1st Budget deadline-2021

Where is the State Legislature; the Senate and the Assembly on Women's Equality of Earnings within NYS now that 3 Women have come forward and filed sexual harassment complaints against Governor Andrew Cuomo? Women's Agenda of 2021-includes the 11th Amendment proposal-once again trying to pass Women's Equality to be included as Civil Right finally-if adopted in State Constitution on April 1, 2021 That is a huge task over the next 14 days-especially now that these complaints have surfaced. What can we do as civilians-registered voters?-Keep in touch with your State Legislators over the next 14 Days and express in writing your viewpoints to them.
As a registered Voter myself within State Assembly 12th AD and Senate District #5-below are my thoughts and positions on Women's Issues.
Governor Andrew Cuomo during his State of State Speech-discussed including the 11th Amendment Proposal as his Budget Priority for 2021. Now that these complaints surfaced-where does the Governor and State Legislative Members stand on the Women's Positions that may be near and dear to your heart?

Here's my take on where we stand-14 days before NYS Budget is too Pass on April 1, 2021.
Who and what is missing as of today from the intent of the 11th Amendment Proposal of Equality? Ohh-Maryann Maltese's request as a Tenured Female Staff Member of the NYS Legislature who during her active employment years-was issued discriminatory employment contracts during her work duty and because Maryann Maltese has not been issued Severance from duty or reinstated; Moves within State Employment and Civil Service that are considered-unjustified, unwarranted in every way. NYS as I have stated -is required as a Public Employer to introduce Corrective Retroactive Earnings Language Legislation which grants Maryann Maltese; on behalf of herself and on behalf of Women State Legislative Officers-Equality of Earnings Effective Immediately because the Legislature as the Employer is at fault.Why-Because Procedural Processes do not exist for the Employee (Maryann) to resolve her employment matter which is enough reason alone to introduce Legislation in NYS to facilitate employment processes. State Legislative Legislators are State policy makers-and as an Employee-if an issue is the fault of the Employer-then Introduction of legislation is necessary and required to resolve the file in the best Employment Laws possible.

In order for there to be validity in the Hopeful Passage of the 11th Amendment Proposal-which is broad based Constitutional Language-a Ryder including Maryann Maltese's Employment Claim as the Face of Justice gives the 11th Amendment Proposal-the teeth and grind and a procedural process for NYS to follow. This is what is missing (Procedural Process)-and has been missing for 6 years-and within the Last Session Year-I have made it a point to be vigilant in my pursuit publicly. I have not hidden in my requests as a measure to get the Legislators to be accountable to Women of NYS.
With my Ryder included with the 11th Amendment Proposal-I have pressed the Legislature to also include funding to be earmarked towards Education so women in the employment arena have a place to turn to get educated of their rights within different Terms of Employment-this important step allows Healing in NYS to occur. I understand this-but because it is a fresh wound- We can not heal until Women who have been violated within Public Service receive monetary corrective earnings-and then steps to help Women. Education and access to information to guide women administratively - to train staff to do so-takes time-this inclusion today or even as we build on the Maltese Law once enacted- will be the light indigent women need. The passage will provide Women with guidance and education-so the symbolic sweatshop idealism is a relic of dust. We're so incline to eliminate visuals of prisons that no longer serve a purpose-lets unchain women 101 years later. This law- It fulfills my life work providing me with a sense of massive accomplishment (20 years) of pressing Legislators to grant women equality. It Began with the Late Eileen C. Dugan-passage of Legislation that acknowledged that Homemakers are Employees, and that Displaced Women receive guidance and work training services-to ensuring that Legislators do not fraternize with Female Interns-now Males are included as well-to this moment; 14 days Waiting for Women to receive State Equality by the 11th Amendment and for my granting of corrective retroactive earnings law.
Join me today; as the Legislators of NYS have Quarantined Themselves and these next 14 days-push them to follow through. If Quarantine due to COVID 19 Exposure requires everyone to remain distant=then while NYS over the next 14 days reviews and creates POLICY-within Budget-DEMAND they include Both the 11th Amendment Proposal and Maryann Maltese's request (it's not even a Bill Number yet-after already waiting 1 year as an Employee-that's unethical) as a complete Legislative Package to bring Equality of Earnings with monetary aspects provided to Maryann Maltese as a tenured Public Officer of the NYS Legislature. No one is more deserving as the Female State Staffer impacted-intentionally. I'm confident in my positions-I never cave in. I'm Pro Choice always will be-and for 60 years this region-has voted against women's rights-allowing for Earnings Matters to be tabled for their self centered reasons-to ensure that important aspects of allowing Women CONTROL be first. This time around-this 2021 Legislative Session-there is no reason for women to settle any more; and pushing the 2 Package Bills; the 11th and Maltese-grants women it all-as it should be in NYS.
