2 Men Sell Alcohol, E-Cigarettes To Minors In East Northport: PD
The men were arrested Thursday night, police say.
EAST NORTHPORT, NY — Two men accused of selling alcohol and e-cigarettes to minors at two East Northport smoke shops were arrested Thursday night, Suffolk police said.
An investigation was launched into alcohol and e-cigarette sales to minors between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. in response to community complaints, police said. Second Precinct Crime Section officers worked with officers from the Community Support Unit.
Shivant Kumar, 28, of Bayside, an employee of Smokeez Smoke Shop, at 324 Larkfield Road, East Northport, was issued a field appearance ticket for second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child after selling e-liquid cartridges to a minor, police said.

Daniel Conroy, 20, of Smithtown, an employee of Legacy Smoke Shop, at 39 Larkfield Road, East Northport, was issued a field appearance ticket for first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child after selling beer to a minor, police said.
The employees of Metro Mart, at 670 Route 25A, in Northport, complied and refused to sell beer to a minor, police said.

The arrestees are due to be arraigned at a later date.
