Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Northport is Sunday

Children are invited make a mad dash for candy-filled plastic eggs at the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Northport Village this Easter Sunday.

The Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Northport/Centerport Lions Club, kicks off in Village Park at 1 p.m.

Expect a special guest appearance from the Easter Bunny.

The event has been put on each year by the Northport Centerport Lions Club since the 1950s.

The rain date will be the following Sunday.
